Welcome to Bosley St. Mary's School Website
It is our great pleasure to welcome you to Bosley St Mary’s CE Primary School and our website. We are proud to be a small school with big ideas. Our school is situated right on the edge of the Peak District and this setting, along with our distinctly Christian ethos, gives Bosley its warm, family appeal.
We are clear that aspiration is at the centre of everything we do and are guided by our school motto of “Achievement for All in a Caring, Christian Community.” We support everyone in our Bosley family, believing that they can and will do their best. We seek engaging, enriching experiences for our children as well as setting high academic standards. Our school is a hub for the local community and we are proud of our village involvement.
Quotes from our recent Ofsted and SIAMS inspection reports:
Ofsted 4th October 2016 - graded as GOOD
'Pupils love this school. They work and play exceptionally well together and there is a really strong sense of community and belonging to the school family.'
SIAMS Inspection 13th July 2017 - graded as OUTSTANDING
'The needs of all learners are very effectively met.'
'The leaders have created a caring, nurturing and supportive environment in which every child is valued and pupils feel safe and secure.'
These inspections have recognised the exciting journey which our school is on, and you can read their reports here. Better than that, you are invited to look at our blogs and see the amazing work our children have produced, or - best of all - why not come and see for yourself?
