What is the best way to keep a snowman cold?

Date: 9th Mar 2018 @ 5:50pm

Class 1 revisited their science topic from last term and thought about which material would be best to stop snow from melting.  They carefully constructed the experiment, making sure that everyone had the same amount of snow to test and only changing the material they were wrapping it in.  To everyone's surprise (including Mrs Hadfield's), paper was found to be the most effective material.  On closer inspection, we found that our carefully constructed laboratory conditions may have slightly been tampered with. Reception class had done a very good job of tidying the outside area including, sadly, our experiment!
