The School Council
At Bosley St Mary's we value the opinions of all the children and our School Council is made up of pupils from each year group in both Key Stages.
They are democratically elected each September - every candidate writes a manifesto and reads it to the school, to convince everyone to vote for them!
They meet to discuss issues raised from our 'Pupil Voice' suggestion box and to have input into initiatives in school like behaviour rules for the dining hall & playground, school rules and a child-friendly anti-bullying policy. They plan and organise fund-raising events like Red Nose Day for Comic Relief or Odd Socks Day for Down Syndrome Awareness Day.
