Beginning Monday 20 April, BBC Bitesize published daily online lessons for all ages. These programmes and activities can be accessed independently, without requiring too much adult input. They also have a new dedicated TV channel full of learning content, podcasts on BBC Sounds and loads of educational video on iPlayer. Children will be able to access regular daily lessons in English and Maths, as well as other core subjects, in an expanded version of their website and also on special programmes broadcast on BBC iPlayer and BBC Red Button. Parents can get advice on how to teach anyone who is home-schooling and the Bitesize website will also have guides for pupils with SEN (special educational needs).
The daily lessons have now ended but there are still lots of resources available on the BBC Bitesize website. You can access them here.
